Lover of color, texture, nature, and life. Jill of all trades, master of . . . who cares! Life isn't about being perfect or mastering one thing. It's about experiencing the world around you . . . getting dirty, creating messes, trying new things, and fall off your chair laughing. That's life. 

I'm a polymath, a crossbrain - both creative and analytical and usually, pragmatic. I like to find joy in the ordinary, and stay present in the moment - both with people and nature. 

By day, I am a successful business owner - building and training sales teams to be more effective successful. I use art in this endeavor and love to push my physical boundaries adventuring around the world - sometimes by myself and at other times, dragging my wonderful husband and two children with me. 

That's life. That's the BEST life.

So hard to pick - do I love acrylic or watercolor more? Hmmm. They're different, just like your children. Watercolor comes easier to me - pigment flows and travels through the water, depositing onto the page. It more "takes shape with input" - than demands control or perfection. 

Acrylic paints, on the other hand, are thick and luxurious - I love to slather them on the canvas and create rich, bold colors with textures that are tactile and yes, touchable!

It's probably easier to see what DOESN'T inspire me. I'm inspired by the world around me - near and far. A lamp next to a plant, creating interesting shapes, a sunset in Costa Rica of brilliant orange and pink ... 

I often travel with watercolors and a sketch book and draw and paint little gifts of the "gifts" around me on my adventures - and leave them with my host or travelling companions. 

I think art is a gift to share and be appreciated by all in both every day places and those magical wonders in the world.
